Back by popular demand, we continue learning about the Underground Railroad - this time tracing the tracks East. You'll hear courageous stories from a local historian at the Carnegie Historical Museum in Fairfield before we scatter for lunch and shopping on the town square. Our journey includes a tour of the famed Pearson House in Keosauqua and the Salem-Lewelling House in Salem. You'll learn about many other safe havens along the path as we drive by them on the way home.
