Get ready to explore some of the historical and cultural treasures in our own backyard! Our first stop will be the at the Iowa State Capitol where we will tour the iconic state treasure - the only 5-domed Capitol in the country! Then we're off to the World Food Prize Hall of Laureates to tour this world-class museum that recognizes great achievements in agriculture and feeding the world. Next, we take a guided tour of Hoyt Sherman Place, another historic gem. Not only is it a beautiful concert and theatre venue, it also has an Art Gallery and Museum as well. A catered lunch will be served. Our last stop will be at the Des Moines Art Center, our city's own museum of modern and contemporary art.
